Nothing like a small town carnival to test the edges of ordered society. Freedom should be a subversive thing, at least a little bit. Having some fun with stills and clips from last weekend’s carnival. Yearly ritual for the month of May, this sugary indulgence of neon and noise. Didn’t get out at night this time because of a another shoot, so instead sharing a vid made in years past. Enjoy.
Herds of sugar-rattled kids and jostling teenagers, some bashfully toting stuffed bear prizes won from the game tents. Small town ritual, they scream and flirt and fight and own the space.
